Awesome Experience in the Presence of God

This morning I had an awesome worship session. Each morning I turn on the worship music and seek the Lord. I have encountered the presence of God many times since starting this in October, 2008.

This morning was no exception. For about 3 hours I lay on my bed soaking in His Presence. The Glory of God came into my room and rested on my body for some 3 hours. My whole body felt like someone put a wet heavy blanket on it. I could barely lift my legs and arms.

The physical manifestation was awesome but it was not the only thing I was experiencing. A tremendous peace came over me that is indescribable. It was the same peace that the Bible says …a peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am very thankful to God for these encounters over the past 1-1/2 years and I wish I had pursued God this way in my previous 40 Years. However, I can’t look back at my previous existence with regret but I look forward with anticipation of getting to know God in a greater way.
