RAINING TRUTH WATERING THE GARDEN
And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. (Genesis 18:8)
And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds: (Genesis 43:11)
And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs. (Numbers 13:23)
Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey. (1st Samuel 14:29)

And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. (2nd Chronicles 31:5)
And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey. (Jeremiah 32:22)
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. (Isaiah 7:15)
Mark 1:6 And John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a girdle of a skin about his lions; and he did eat locusts and wild honey. (Mark 1:6)
Along with the creation of flesh man, God also created the food which he would need for sustenance. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:29
Foods are mentioned several places throughout the Bible. If you are curious, as I was, I have listed a few of the scriptures above. In a nutshell here are the foods mentioned: fruits, spices, nuts, almonds, grapes, pomegranates, figs, wine, corn, raisins, and cakes of figs, wheat, barley, flour, beans, lentils, parched pulse, cheese, oil, milk, locusts, honey, fish, calves and sheep.
